as another night passes of working - work all day, come home work, dont sleep as thinking of event work thats just been done - i have taken 10 mins to look at tattoos. I think a nice cherry blossom coming out from under my bra and going around the rose on my left arm would be cool. Needs to be a custom job as will be quite precise when I work out what exactly is required.

Also it would seem all curtain hooks are not the same. I now have a curtain that is a) open or b) shut. It wont move between the two states.

Anyway. Think I must surely be nearly done on the event now. Make some gold tomorrow. Herbs planned for Wed. Somewhere in between I need to pass a really difficult course - the one I didnt pass last year. I have done some revision but not enough. Im not sure i will take the exam as I cant take the stress of it, and quite frankly I dont think the company will fund the rest of the qualification (and Im not interested enough to fund it myself)

Thats the thing with bikes. Cant carry a spare tyre. Luckily ant noticed a hissing when we stopped in a layby and i was taking it easy at 40 when the tyre deflated completely. So sat here on a49 by moreton business park waiting for a van. First bloke fixed the hole in the tyre but not the one in the tube. Yay for more money being spent on the bike. Still its a nice day and i did two hours on a canoe today.

Its just impossible - call at 8.30 they say, so you do, just to get through 10 mins later and there are no appointments. Try to prebook and you have to justify why you should be allowed to (and then wait 2.5 weeks). If you work its harder than ever to get to make an appointment (via the services your taxes fund). Its so frustrating. Call again at half 3, is the request, but there wont be anything left then either. Think I'll write a letter, might be easier!

have made it to the ferry. Still alive. Cold though. Tried to get ferry from amsterdam to hull to cut down ride. They wanted three hurdred pounds ! Tired but happy to have got this far :-) :-)

oh dear. We have ridden about 5 hours and only got to reigate. We had to stop. We saw three crashes nice and close. Then they closed the m25. We tried to go another route. And i nearly hit a tree. Time to stop. So i have missed joolz and now in a hotel. We are going to try going on tomorrow but my panier bag also broke and my cover doesnt fit my bike. And i brought the wrong key for the lock. I can honestly say this time we bit off more than we could chew. Maybe in our first year we should have taken it easy. Its an experience but we know we cant ride from amsterdam to birmingham in a day. Looking for alternative plans without too much disruption. I am off to find wine
